Vista Home Premium--cannot get into BIOS
When I turn the PC on it goes the the HP INVENT blue screen..then it goes to
the black screen wtih the cursor blinking in the left hand corner..then to a blank screen with the "no analog signal"...then it loops back again to the HP Invent screen and continues this cycle. I cannot get into BIOS. The keyboard has no effect. I switched out hard drives and still have the same problem.. Any suggestions Thanks, |

Did you try inserting a Vista DVD (or XP or whatever) to see if that will boot? |

Re: Vista Home Premium--cannot get into BIOS
Hi, Ken.
You have an HP problem, not a Microsoft problem. :>( Windows does NOT control the BIOS. The BIOS starts the computer and THEN loads the operating system: Windows or Linux or whatever. The problem you are describing is happening BEFORE Vista even gets a chance to load. The problem is either in your computer's motherboard or its BIOS. Talk to HP. RC -- R. C.
