I searched the db but cannot find a solution to my problem. I cannot upload
photos in jpg format to any website eg kodakgallery, snapfish, winkflash etc
etc. I have tried using the photo by photo method and installing the easy
uploader but cannot upload anything. System says it's uploading but
eventually times out and says cannot complete. I tried installing Mozilla and
the error from this browser is that the connection to the server was reset or
does not exist...i used to be able to upload pictures without a problem - not
sure what changed..perhaps an update?. Ofoto sent me instructions on how to
make their site a trusted site etc but this did not work either. I have
checked my firewall settings and all outbound connections are unrestricted...
HELP HELP!!

I am having the same problem with Kodakgallery - have you found a solution yet?
I thought Kodak was fab until I got a new laptop with Vista - really frustrated now!

i use tesco photo uploads no problem from xp but vista it just closes.
i have the same problem with kodak but it just doesn't upload.
i could throw my new laptop out a window.
any help would be great.

Snap!! I've been battling with this one for the last five days!! tried every photo site- kodakgallery/ snapfish/ asda- can't upload to any of them, using any method, and it stops internet explorer working and also seems to terminate my internet connection which I couldn't restore without completely shutting down the computer. My dad is a computer engineer and he has been trying to find a solution to this into the wee small hours- very very frustrating! At first I thought it was a problem with my broadband provider, but reading your posts has convinced me that it is indeed a vista problem. Restoring the factory settings of SSL in internet explorer stop it mangling my connection, but still getting kicked off the site and no joy uploading- we think it is something to so with the vista security, but anyone any idea what? VERY frustrating!! I'm actually thinking of downgrading to XP again!

sorry Mr Leonard- have been having huge probs with system and couldn't get back online all day yesterday. We tried your solution, but no joy- sorry! Dad managed to do something with FTP so that I can now upload photos 1 by 1, but cannot use anything requiring active X controls- unfortunately he is currently out of action with food poisoning, so i cant be more specific, but I can find out what exactly he did if it would help anyone. he will probably be back at it tomorrow!
