memory card not recognized

I have had my digital camera for a few months and I use a 2GB memory card.
The card is no longer being recognized when I plug it in to my computer. I
can still take pics and view on my camera but the memory card is not
recognized when plugged into my computer (I have a laptop). Can anyone tell
me where else I can find it other than under "Computer" or if I have
accidentally turned something off that needs to be on?

Does it recognise any other cards, if you have more than one? It could be a
faulty reader.

Re: memory card not recognized

I have the same problem. It works, then it doesn't, works again, then it
doesn't. If it's a faulty reader do I have to send the whole darn computer
in?

Re: memory card not recognized

Does anyone have a solution for this? Or know what step I should take next?

Re: memory card not recognized

Right click on your start Icon and select Explore and see if it shows up
there when installed prior to rebooting your computer.
Also see if you can use the USB cable that came with your camera to connect
to your computer when the camera power is turned on.

Re: memory card not recognized

Thank you for the advice. I uninstalled the USB root hubs then restarted,
and this solved the problem.
