Whats the best FPS for Vista? i have Unreal3 but not enough people play
it.

I'd put in a vote for Orange Box, specifically Team Fortress 2, plenty of
players/servers I've found, and the game ain't half bad either. Doesn't run
DirectX 10, but still really nice looking game.

also, i like one on one DM (deathmatch) type shooters. Not so much team
oriented but more a lone assasin type of game.

isen't Orange box half-life?

doesn't COD4 have like a DM mode? someone told me they did. i just don't
want to buy it without deathmatch or team deathmatch.....

I'd agree with BF2, but Enemy Territory? Maybe the original, but I loathe
the Quake Wars version.

Gimmie TF2! Can't wait for Pyro update.

Most servers are team deathmatch in CoD4, hands down one of the best online
multiplayer games released in the past 2-3 years, and that's saying a lot
coming from someone who isn't really into FPSs.

You get levels and everything, it's pretty cool. Semi-nice people playing
as well, which is pretty rare in a FPS.

i downloaded the demo and yes--very cool....! it ain't unreal
tournament but it's good. i was playing a team map. are there deathmatch
servers for both single player and teams?

there are multiplayer team death match servers you can filter your
gametype.......
..what do you mean by single player servers...??
