Lego Island Wont Work On Vista

i had a check online & could not see any compatibility issues with
it....??

what actually happens when you try & play this....walk me through it..

Every time I launch the game it says "isle has stopped working." But
when I was messing around with the backwards compatible I got a little
bit further. When I switched it to Windows NT 4.0 it now starts say
"LEGO Island is not detecting DirectX5 or later. Please quit all other
applications and try again." I did that and it's still saying it.

ok time to try & update directX itself.....

this is the latest DX9 & DX10 update




see if this helps..... also what graphics card do you have...?
