True Image at least will also "clone" a disk. Creating a bootable copy of
the original on a second disk. The problem comes when you leave it in and reboot. You have to remove the clone before rebooting, and then exchange drives when you want to run the clone. But it is just a drive swap, and there is no "restore" involved. Maybe this will help. Good luck.
