No. You would need to do a clean install of Vista 32-bit. Contact the laptop mftr. and get a 32-bit restore disk. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! FAQ - |

No. The only way to change from a 64-bit OS to a 32-bit OS (or vice-versa, for that matter) is to format the partition and perform a clean installation. -- Bruce Chambers Help us help you: They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. ~Benjamin Franklin Many people would rather die than think; in fact, most do. ~Bertrand Russell The philosopher has never killed any priests, whereas the priest has killed a great many philosophers. ~ Denis Diderot |

Re: Vista Downgrade
Hello Curious, You can check at this Microsoft link to see if a program or hardware is compatible with the 32-bit or 64-bit Vista versions. 'Windows Vista Compatibility Center' () Hope this helps, Shawn Curious;892024 Wrote: > What are examples of programs that are not compatible other then > possibly > device drivers?
