Windows Mail 'Find Message'

Find Message has suddenly stopped working for me (have Vista). When I try to
find a message in my in-box for example, from a regular correspondent nothing
show up. I must have clicked a button by accident. Can anyone help please!

Make sure you have things set to View | Current View | Show all messages in
the inbox and see if that helps. If not you can try to compact and repair
the database with my Windows Mail Utility (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and see
if that helps.

Hi Steve,

The Find Message in Windows Vista doesn't work sometimes. I face this
problem so many times. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work,
especially when I am trying to find something in the body text.

The old Outlook Express Find was perfect but the find is worst in Windows
Mail.

If you're from the development team then please try to push this issue and
rectify the problem on the priority basis.

I am sure that due to this issue Microsoft must be loosing so many customers.

I hope that in the next update this major issue will be fix.

For your information I use both Windows Mail and Office Outlook 2007. Office
Outlook 2007 work perfect ( because MS has charged for that ) and Windows
Mail doesn't work because it's free with the Windows Vista. Might be this can
be a business strategy.
