Problem with Vista DVD Maker
I have made a video from my Panasonic cameras and was very impressed with the
functionality of the software. However I then clicked on Publish Movie and it took me to the DVD Maker where after entering all the necessary information I proceeded to click on Burn to make my DVD. After just 1.3% decoding it popped up an error message which read "no such interface supported". Now I cannot believe that I could have absolutely no problems in Movie Maker and find that the file it generated contains an interface that is not supported by DVD Maker? I have read all the postings on this forum as well as many others but as yet I have not come across any with the same error message as I have although clearly there are many people who experience problems with buring DVD's. From what I have read I suspect that the problem may relate to the extension with which the movie is saved. In DVD maker there is only one choice and I was unable to find a way to save it differently. That extension is .msdvd. I then went to Movie Maker again in the hope that I could save it in an acceptable format there. However again there are no options to save it with any extension other than the default one .wmmp (Windows Movie Maker Projects). So if I need to save my movie with an extension such as .wmv or .avi etc how can I do this? Any help you can provide will be much appreciated. I have a deadline for Friday to complete the burning of the DVD. -- Hogard Gevers Pietermaritzburg, South Africa |
