Movie maker will not join movies and still pics

Message: Hello,
I have an ongoing problem with movie maker. Movie maker will not publish a
completed movie when that movie contains any movie format. It will only save
when just pictures are in my completed movie. I have tried; wmv, avi, mpg,
and a couple of others. I have tried all lengths from 3 secs to 19 secs.
Please advise what I can do so that I can include 'movies' in my movie maker
projects.

All else goes well. It will publish to DVD, any size or quality that I ask
for, to any type of disk (-r, + r, r/w, etc.)

don;t mention the source and format of your video file.
