Hibernation mode just locks computer

The right most column has the date mentioned when Windows tried to install any updates.

I just typed "powercfg -h off" and sleep is working now.

But hibernation and sleep is still not working when "powercfg -h on". Please help.

which operating system ? Does it happen in both XP and Vista ?

It happens in Win Vista and Win Server 2008 after sp2 installation.
