installing a printer driver, printer and monitor programmatically
Long subject, but in principle not really rocket science although I feel
it's difficult like that. I have software only printer driver based on unidrv. And I can install the printer without trouble using my inf file. But now I wanted to install that programmatically during an installer run. Till now I have not "satisfying" solution. I tried my luck with the difxapp tools but according to someone else they are supposed to work if a "real" device is around, but as said nothing like that is there. Howerver the Add Printer Wizard must add this device somehoe internally, but I have not the slightest clue how that works. Does anyone here has an idea on how to get around this? Regards Friedrich |
