XP Forgets Settings
My XP PRO SP2 frequently forgets at least some 'settings' upon a fresh
boot-up. For example - my resolution is supposed to stay set at 1280X768 to handle my LCD monitor, but this AM, the machine booted up to 800X600. The desktop display also threw all my icons to upper left portion of the screen, requiring me to manually put them back where they were when I shut down. There are other 'forgets'. Is there a fix or utility for this anomaly? Thanks Jethro |
