Can't boot to CD

I need to reinstal windows xp , but when i try to do this I get a messgae
saying that the version I am trying to install is older than the version on
the computer.I know this and this is fine. It then tells me to reboot from
the cd drive and the installation will start them. I have tried this, but the
computer will not boot to the cd drive. I have looked in the setup options
and I can't see an option for booting to the cd.The computer is an older TINY
model.I have already chanced the boot up options so that the cd drive is
listed first and it still won't boot to the cd.
Can anyone please help.

Re: Can't boot to CD

The msg means that you have winxp sp2 installed and your winxp cd is pre sp2

Are you wishing to repair your installation or perform a clean install? (by
which method you would loose everything on your drive)

You must get into the BIOS and set the CD to be at the top of the list of
bootable devices.
The fine manual for your computer gives you instructions on how to do this
on your computer.

Re: Can't boot to CD

Your pc is either not booting from the win cd or you are selection the wrong
option when it does. You have to delete the partitions first
