XP deployment with SMS 2003
I am attempting to deploy XP from an SMS server in a domain that has
lmcompatibilitylevel=5. I cannot capture the OS image to any machine in the domain as booting from the capture cd will not let you authenticate to the SMS server to store the image on the server. It is no problem to capture the image somewhere else and copy the file. The problem lies in booting with the installation CD. You cannot authenticate with the SMS server to install the OS. Is there any workaround in the PE enviroment that might let me authenticate in a domain set to lmcompatibilitylevel=5? -- Mark Koenig Tucson, AZ |
