Cannot install XP on Brand New Build
When I attempt to load Windows XP Home Edition SP2 on my new PC I encounter
the following error messages during setup Windows can't load installer for CDROM Windows can't load installer for Disk Drive Windows can't load installer for Battery The following is a listing of my components for my build * Ultra 600 Watt Power Supply (new) * 2GB Dual Channel Kingston Value Ram KVR667D2K2/2GR (new) * Intel e4300 1800 Mhz Chip (new) * Abit IB9 Motherboard (new) * Seagate 320GB SATA (New) * New CD/DVD Drive (SATA) * Windows XP SP2 * BFG GeForce 6600 GT / 128MB / DDR3 / SLI / PCI Express (new) Any thoughts would be appreciated. PS - I am using the latest BIOS available for the MB |

Are you preessing F6 during setup to install the SATA drivers from a floppy
you should have been provided?
