Any Utlilty to Change File Names ?
Hello,
I need to change the names of about 250 files. It is not convenient to do it through Windows Explorer. Is there a utility that may make my task simple? Thanks. T.I. |

Batch files run under the command line interpreter, cmd. To get more info, start cmd. Then enter ren ?. That will get you started on the investigating the rename command. Jim > > T.I. > |

Lupas Rename is a good freeware application for this operation.
I like it because of the "Undo" feature. Gord On Wed, 01 Aug 2007 23:22:09 GMT, "Talal Itani" <> wrote: >Hello, > >I need to change the names of about 250 files. It is not convenient to do >it through Windows Explorer. Is there a utility that may make my task >simple? Thanks. > >T.I. > |

Wow, Rey, that one site has an awesome piece of software called Win Ext.
There are a ton of freeware file renamer. While these two look great and promising, I think it mostly boils down to preference. Good luck.
