Internet connection times out?
I have DSL from ATT. I must of changed something by mistake and now after a
few hours of use, after a reboot, the systray will get a icon that is for connection disconnected. It appears in "Network Connections, LAN or high speed internet. Local area connection 8 disconnected. Firewalled Realtek RTL839 Family PCI Fast Ethernet ". I do not have a network and assume that this still needs to be in Network Connections? That is the item that gets disconnected and of course I can do nothing but reboot and start the process all over again. Seems like it is on a timer or I do something that activates the disconnect? Can someone advise what I should check and correct? Thanks. -- Charlie5 |
