Switch User and Login another user

Hi,

I would like to switch from user A to user B in windows XP
automatically. I searched and found out that "%windir%
\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation" will automatically
switch user A. But, how to automatically login user B?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Vishnu.

Re: Switch User and Login another user

There is no way to automatically log in the second user while the first user
still has a logged on session. Even if the first user logs off, not just
"locked", you would still have to select user B and, if there is one, enter
the password for their account.

Re: Switch User and Login another user

(1) Login in normally to all the users you wish to switch between. (2) Then make a shortcut to Task Manager on desktop. Shortcut properties: Target : %windir%\system32\taskmgr.exe StartIn : %windir% (3) Download autohotkey an open source desktop macro recorder player. Download : AutoHotkey - Free Mouse and Keyboard Macro Program with Hotkeys and AutoText (4) Install AutoHotKey. (5) Record a macro that double clicks the shortcut to Task Manager, then right clicks on the user you wish to switch to and select connect from the drop down menu. (6) Bingo! you have changed to the second user! (7) Repeat the process on the second user's desktop to switch back to that user or another user.

Re: Switch User and Login another user

I don't think it is possible to change from one user to another without going to the logon screen which shows the names of the users.....

I use a shortcut to switch users instead of pressing start button and all that stuff. You can try this too, press "win + L" from the keyboard, it'll take you to the logon screen and now you can chose someother user. I hope it was useful in someway.

All the Best .

Cool Re: Switch User and Login another user

My guess is it's not possible for you to switch users without going to the logon screen, where the names of users are shown.....

But i'll tell what i do for switching users, i use the shortcut "win + L" which should take you to the logon screen in no time!!!!
I hope my info is useful for you in some way!!!

All the Best .
