HELP! Evil virus embedded in IE 7!!!

Thanks in advance for replying.

I want to put this short and simple.

In IE 7:

Click on something - error.
Click on something - error.
Mouse over something - error.
View picture - error.
Reply - error.
(Everything is a trigger for an error)

No viruses found.
No spyware, adware or malware found.
(Windows Defender and AVG Free do not detect viruses or spyware)

Expected: ')'
(One of the errors)

Running Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Windows Internet Explorer 7
256 MB of RAM
(My system specifications)

Anyone know what the problem?

Besides the fact that IE7 sucks royally, you probably have an add on
like a Yahoo or Google bar that IE7 doesn't care for. Try right clicking
on the IE7 icon on the desktop and opening it "without add ons". If it
works fine, start removing add ons until you find which one isn't
compatible with IE7.

You might also want to up your RAM to at least 512, preferably 1 GB.
