Fatal error c000021a
My pc restarts and restarts and windows never loads up
I see this error Fatal c000021a on a BLUE SCREEN after selecting the option that removes the auto restart on error.. there was also STATUS 0x000001d please help I really need my pc back any comment is greatly welcome L.Ortega El Paso Tx. |

First, you need to rescue any data on this Hard drive (that if you have valuable data?). Then Try to download the Diagnostic tools from the HDD manufacturer website to test the health of HDD, it may be having a bad/dirty cluster/bits that causing this issue and normally running chkdsk /r will correct this error. Then get your XP CD and perform a chkdsk /r from a recovery console or try the Repair/Install of XP. How to troubleshoot a "STOP 0xC000021A" error How to install and use the Recovery Console in Windows XP Perform a Repair Installation How to perform an in-place upgrade (reinstallation) of Windows XP HTH. nass ---- |
