Add/Remove Windows Components (Accessories and Utilities)

Accessories and Utilities were accidentaly removed.
Attemps to (re) Add them produce a series of error windows, each saying e.g.
" Cannot copy file wordpad.ex_ from the designated directory C:\i386".

Notes:
All files referenced in the error windows do exist in the specified directory.

No Restore point is available.
XP CD is not avaiable.

How can the Accessories and Utilities be (re) added?

Thank you
