Error when trying to uninstall Symantec
We are trying to uninstall the Norton Internet Security from a new laptop so
that we can install our symantec corporate version. When we go to 'Add/Remove" programs and select remove we get a window which has the error message: "The MSI installer is currently disabled via Group Policy. Please change the setting before trying this action again" We have looked all through the local group policy and can not find it and we know it is not on any GPO in AD. How do we get rid of this program so we can move on? Thank you -- Aldo |

(NOTE: This removes "all" Norton products and ACT. |
