RE: error message on start up
Hi Annie, If it there can you rename it to WTSAPI32.DLLOLD then reboot your machine, does it help? Did you read the article about windows terminal service? If it is too much then yes best if you took it to your local repair shop for them to sort it out for you. Good luck. nass "anniegetyourgun" wrote: > Many thanks for replying to my post.I'm running WindowsXP media edition.I > have searched for WTSAPetc and it is already in C;\windows etc.So i have > painstakingly followed all your other suggestions but to no avail.Any more > ideas I could try or is it a case of getting someone far more knowledgeable > than me to sort it out!! > Thanks > Annie > > "nass" wrote: > > > > > > > "anniegetyourgun" wrote: > > > > > I'm getting the following message on startup > > > the application or DLL C;\WINDOWS\system32\WTSAPI32DLL is not a valid > > > windows image. > > > > > > My BT Broadband also seems to have been messed up by this. Please help but > > > keep it simple I'm more computer literate than my hubby but less so than my > > > teenage son > > > > > > Hi, > > What version of Windows are you running? > > > > WTSAPI32.DLL is part of Microsoft Terminal Server APIs. > > > > Run a search on your machine to find by typing in the search: > > > > WTSAPI32.DLL click [Search] and if you found it try to copy it to here: > > C:\Windows\System32 > > Reboot your machine and see if the error gone. > > Introducing the Terminal Services APIs for Windows NT Server and Windows 2000 > > http://www.microsoft.com/msj/1099/te.../terminal.aspx > > > > Unexplained computer behaviour may be caused by deceptive software > > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827315 > > > > Go through these Cleaning steps: > > 1...
