Thank you for your help and information. I followed your instructions, using delpart to delete the system partitions and fdisk where needed to create the first new partition, and used Windows Disk Management tools where required. Your help got me going again, and it worked perfectly. The computer is now up and running and the backdoor has been eliminated.
