When I turn off the Windows displays the following message:
The windows are running a long operation Wait this operation ends, or cancel it before leaving the Windows |

You're not telling us much, like when did this start and what changes have
you recenly made to your system. What version of Windows and service pack are you running? Some details about your computer help sometimes too. What have you done to identify what in Windows is running that takes this time to complete? If you leave it alone does it finish and does Windows then shutdown?
