Software Distribution Service 3.0

My computer creates Restore Points labelled:
Software Distribution Service 3.0
Is it safe to performe a System Restore to any of such Restore Points?
And, what does it mean?
TIA

A Restore Point with that name is created when Automatic Updates checks with
the Windows Update servers from time to time.
