Re: Restore Points will not work
Bear
Avast creates problems with System Restores as I pointed out to you several weeks ago. I use AVG 8 Free and my system restore works as it should. This problem may not be related to security software. -- Regards. I am given to understand that an Avast update released since then had
corrected the problem, Gerry. Gerry wrote: > Bear > > Avast creates problems with System Restores as I pointed out to you > several weeks ago. Re: Restore Points will not work
I tried one of Gerry's suggestion's and Restore seems to work well now.
Gerry suggested: "Try turning System Restore off to delete all restore points. Next turn System Restore back on and create a new restore point. Then test by restoring to your newly created restore point. " I sincerely thank all of you that worked to help me -- Jack Nation **************** "Gerry" <> wrote in message news:.gbl... > Jack > > I am not placing any of the software you use as causing problems with > system restore. > > What drives / partitions are you monitoring?
