IE cannot display webpage

I am very frustrated. I've been trying to get onto one website which I've
always been able to do and for the last week or so I keep getting this
message. I have IE 7 and windows xp and everything is up to date. I run
McAfee security suite. I have tried everything on the solutions page except
for setting the computer back to the way it was when I bought it. I would
rather not do that. I have tried deleting sp 3 and that hasn't helped. I've
also tried deleting a couple of the security updates for IE and that hasn't
helped. Should I be deleting IE 7 and going back to IE 6? I'm really
needing to get onto that site. It is just the one site. I can get onto
others. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Been there.

Assuming that you can get to the web site with another computer...

On your computer:

Using ie - tools - general.

Delete all: Cookies, History, Temporary Internet Files.

Look for a file called HOST (no suffix) and delete it.

See if that works.
