Refreshing my desktop

When I have all windows minimized in my laptop, if I right-click on my
desktop wallpaper and click "Refresh" all my icons are moved to the left of
the screen. It also happens when I reboot or startup the laptop. My other
computers don't do that, and it's driving me bonkers! Any idea how I can stop
the icons from moving? Thanks!

Re: Refreshing my desktop

It cannot be fixed from the desktop, right-click, menu. I have three
computers and it doesn't happen in the other ones.... Any ideas what can be
causing it?

Re: Refreshing my desktop

When right clicking desktop and arrange icons by: what are your settings?
(what is checked?)

Re: Refreshing my desktop

Only "Show Desktop Items" and "Align to Grid" are checked... I insist the
problem is not with the icon arrangement because my other computers have the
same setting and they're fine. It's something more obscure...

Re: Refreshing my desktop

I don't know all the details of your system but check this: From control
panel--display--desktop tab---click customize desktop--click on web
tab---check lock desktop items.
