I use myspeed.coxinet.net to determine internet speeds. The quality of
service is seldom over 75% and I wonder if this is a typical value of the
service.

A good place to find answers to questions like this is DSL Reports. They
have forums for major ISP's, speed tests, reviews, etc.



In spite of the name, they cover all kinds of broadband networks.
