Re: Apply security patches on a WinXP RIS image

When we do this, all we do is deploy the image to a box and get the updates
installed onto it. At this point then I can make any changes to the box,
like add or remove software that has changed or even make customizations to
the desktop that gets deployed. At them point all I do is create a new
image of the box and delete the old one. Now I have a new image with up to
date patches. We try to do this once a quarter to keep from having to many
patches to install.

I hope this helps!
