Re: Can't uninstall Synctoy powertoy

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried several undelete utils but with no success. I re-created the requested temp folder and copied (and renamed, it's looking for setup[1].msi) the setup filed into it - still no luck for install or uninstall it can tell it's a newer version. Only thing I can think of now is to get ahold of previous (1.2?) version of setup.msi and try to repeat. Thoughts? no idea why this is so hard.... such a small program..... Synctoy 1.2 installer appears to be available for download here, . I don't know anything about that web site so use at your own risk, and for certain do a virus scan on the file first if you decide to try it.

Hi there,
I have the same problem (can't uninstall SyncToy 1.2, looking for the MSI file which I lost), but unfortunately I cannot find the installer at the link that was posted (that page seems to have disappeared). Could you email the installer to me please, or post it somewhere I can download it? Many thanks, Johan |
