Infinite Loop...HELP!

Aloha all. While I was working on my system (checking e-mail) it suddenly
went down. Now, whenever I try to boot normally, it crashes and give me the
Blue Screen of Death with a msg about being stuck in an infinite loop with
NV4-disp.
What the heck is that? Boots up fine in Safe Mode, but cannot get back into
normal WinXP. Anyone know what to do? HELP!
Thanks all.

Re: Infinite Loop...HELP!

NV4-disp.dll is part of the nVidia display drivers. A google search turned
up a bunch of people with Dell Dimension PCs that had this issue when their
video card went bad.

The first thing I'd try is using safe mode w/ networking support and
download the most recent video card drivers and see if that does the trick.
If not, your card may have failed.
