Re: folder options
If the Folder Options sub-menu is missing under Tools menu in Windows Explorer, read below:
NoFolderOptions policy hides the "Folder Options" applet in the Control Panel, and the "Folder Options" sub-menu under Tools menu in Windows Explorer. To get the option back, (in standalone systems) use these steps: Start Regedit.exe and navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies\Explorer -and- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer Backup the keys, and delete the "NoFolderOptions" value in the right pane. Ref: http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?se...TNGP12.phx.gbl http://www.winhelponline.com/blogs/3...sub-menu..html Follow-up with a thorough virus/malware check after removing the NoFolderOptions Policy. -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] Windows® Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "sergio" <sergio@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:884C6228-E761-4ED9-A00A-9915CE8490B9@microsoft.com... my folder options at control panel just disapear how do i get access to it or how do i get it again |
