Block annoying alerts in Windows 7
Just like Vista, Windows 7 will display a suitably stern warning if it thinks your antivirus, firewall or other security settings are incorrect.
But unlike Vista, if you disagree then you can now turn off alerts on individual topics. If you no longer want to see warnings then turn off the Windows firewall. To do this:
1. Click Control Panel icon on the desktop.
2. Select All Control Panel items and then click Action Center.
3. Click Change action center settings in the left pane.
4. Clear Network Firewall checkbox. Click Ok to save changes.
