How to Turn Off Recent Search entries display in Windows 7
By default Windows 7 will remember your PC search queries, and display the most recent examples when searching in Windows Explorer. If you're sharing a PC and don't want everyone to see your searches, then you can hide your search queries from other users by:
1. Clicking Start button and type GPEDIT.MSC and press Enter.
2. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer.
3. Double-click "Turn off display of recent search entries...".
4. Select Enabled and then click Apply and Ok.
