What a joke, patenets regarding synchronizing email/calendars/contacts ? IP patents are way out of hand. How many ways are there to sync data like this ? ...'Is this data newer, or is that data...that data is, so let's copy it to this device'... I can see if actual MS source code is used somewhere, or binary libraries (.dll files) "owned" by MS, but that's highly unlikely. |

Notice how Frank omits the closing statement: "Gold questioned the timing of the Motorola suit. "If you're going out and suing everyone and you're about to release a new OS, what's going to grab the headlines? You want your new OS to, not the lawsuit," he said." It's all about Microsoft and it's failings. They always sue when they are falling behind or are running scared, nothing new. They, as usual shoot themselves in the foot whining, crying, and throwing around lawsuits. What is hilarious is they fool mostly no one, but make themselves look bad and alienate the very customers they wish to obtain, by their underhanded tactics. It's always amusing to watch them try to bully, and strong-arm their way to monopolize, EVERYTHING, and then fail miserably in areas, save their beloved OS. Even more hilarious, is companies like Novell, that are stupid enough to cave-in. ..Spineless, Gutless, Wonders. MS has a pathetic loosing record as they should with lawsuits, so why cave-in? Challenge them, (Or take on the challenge), and WIN. The ultimate hilarity is watching MS loose lawsuit after lawsuit as a result of STEALING technology, (Their usual M.O.), over and over again. Frank also conveniently omitted this: "In a statement, Motorola said it had not received a copy of the complaint. "Motorola has a leading intellectual property portfolio, one of the strongest in the industry. The company will vigorously defend itself in this matter," it said." Cheers to Motorola for stepping up to the plate and challanging the PIG. I have little doubt Motorola will prevail. Live with it MS Zealots, MS is NOT the be-all, far from it in various areas. ..And mostly are thugs, claiming they did what someone else actually did. (Stole it) ..Yet they have the "balls" to sue over something they never developed themselves in the first place in many cases. Their record from the very beginning is stealing or paying very LITTLE for technology they couldn't develop themselves. It's a FACT, Zealots just simply refuse to accept and will deny to their last breath. ..But we people that have been around a while and have paid attention, KNOW better. ...Enter the bluster and denial, not to mention vulgar statements I'll ignore as usual.. Blow all the hot air you want, it falls on def ears. I couldn't care less about MS Zealot rants, it means nothing as usual. Just paid MS shilling/astroturfing rants.. Nothing new from a less than honest company and it's advocates. G'day |
