How do I save a Microsoft Office Word 2007 document as a 2007 and not as
97-2003 document>

For the current document, click the Office button, Save as, and set the type
to Word document (*.docx).

To set the default for all documents, click the Office button, Word Options,
Save tab, and set Save files in this format to Word document (*.docx).
